Teacher: Middle/High School Math (2027-28)

Title
Teacher: Middle/High School Math (2027-28)
Description
Lighthouse Christian Academy is seeking a Middle/High School Math Teacher for the 2027–28 school year. The anticipated teaching load will focus primarily on middle school and lower high school mathematics, with specific course assignments determined based on school needs and the strengths of the selected candidate.
We are looking for more than someone who knows math. We are looking for an educator who loves Jesus, enjoys students, teaches with excellence, and wants to be part of a joyful, highly relational Christian school community.

The right candidate will bring energy and fun to the classroom while maintaining high academic and behavioral expectations. They will be dependable, teachable, self-motivated, and willing to do the ordinary work of teaching exceptionally well. In short, we are looking for someone with grit, humility, and joy—someone who takes Jesus and the work of Christian education seriously without taking themselves too seriously.
The teacher will plan and deliver high-quality mathematics instruction, assess student learning, communicate proactively with families, maintain a classroom characterized by both grace and high expectations, and participate fully in the broader life and mission of LCA.
