Spelling Bee

ACSI Spelling Bee Help

Mrs. Mobley is heading up our ASCI Spelling Bee this year on February 24 and is in need of volunteers. Volunteers would need to be at LCA by 8:30 am. Snacks will be provided and everything should be wrapped up by noon.
These are the following positions she still needs volunteers for:
Arbitrator (2)– resolves questions or conflicts regarding the rules or procedures; operates the recording device (smart phone); looks up words in the dictionary when requested by the speller.
Recording Judge (5) – writes down each letter as the speller spells their word.
Round Keeper (6) – keeps a record of the rounds using a flip chart; log the correct or misspelling for each speller using a supplied form.
All volunteers will be trained that morning with what is needed.
If you are able to help, please contact Mrs. Mobley at [email protected].
