As summer progresses, we want to remind families about Summer Reading Lists. The "Summer Slide" are those months students are away from school when students can lose up to two months of reading proficiency. Help tackle the summer slide with recommended reading. Reading lists offer suggestions that enrich student enjoyment and proficiency in reading. Middle and high school students also have required summer reading. Find all lists on our website under Academics and choose the appropriate grade for your student.

During the months of June and July the Bookmobile will not be stopping at Lighthouse Christian Academy on Monday afternoons and will instead be at Switchyard Park by the Pavillion from 2:45 - 3:45 PM. With school out of session, we typically see very few visitors at Lighthouse during the summer, so we hope this won't inconvenience our loyal LCA patrons.
We will resume the Lighthouse stop beginning on Monday, August 5th. We hope you all have a wonderful summer break!
