Description
Lighthouse Christian Academy is seeking a dynamic, Christ-centered educator to lead our PK–8 technology instruction and support our academic mission of integrating biblical worldview, academic excellence, and 21st-century digital fluency.

Primary Responsibilities
Technology Instruction (Grades PK–8):
Design and deliver developmentally appropriate computer science instruction that aligns with Indiana Academic Standards for Computer Science
(see: IDOE Computer Science Standards).

Collaborate with classroom teachers to integrate technology into core subject areas where appropriate.

Supervisory Duties:
Supervise and manage middle school study hall daily with a focus on structure, support, and accountability.

Maintain classroom discipline that reflects both high academic expectations and a redemptive, Christ-centered approach.
Requirements
Affirmation of LCA's Statement of Faith

Local, Bible-believing church affiliation

A mature Christian faith and willingness to disciple students through technology and media.

Bachelor’s degree in education, instructional technology, computer science, or a related field (teaching license preferred).

Familiarity with Indiana state standards for computer science and instructional best practices for K–8 learners.

Experience in managing classroom technology and educational platforms (Outlook, Typing Club, Code.org, etc.).

Strong classroom management and communication skills.

Ability to work collaboratively with faculty and staff in a team-oriented environment.
