Head Coach - Girls Volleyball (Middle School)

The Middle School Girls Volleyball Coach is responsible for introducing and developing foundational volleyball skills in student-athletes while fostering a Christ-centered team environment. The coach will lead practices, coach games, and disciple players in a way that aligns with Lighthouse Christian Academy’s mission and values. The goal is to help students grow in confidence, teamwork, and Christlike character both on and off the court.

Key Responsibilities:

-Teach fundamental volleyball skills and game understanding appropriate for middle school athletes

-Lead practices and manage games with a focus on development and participation

-Provide spiritual leadership through prayer, encouragement, and biblical mentoring

-Model sportsmanship, humility, and integrity at all times

-Communicate clearly with players, parents, and the athletic department

-Support the mission of the LCA Athletics program and serve as a positive representative of the school

-Coordinate scheduling, uniforms, and logistics with the Athletic Director

-Committed Christian and active participant in the life of a Bible-believing church

-Volleyball playing or coaching experience (especially with youth or middle school preferred)

-Patient, encouraging, and able to connect well with middle school students

-Strong communication and organizational skills

-Passion for discipleship and character formation through sports
