Assistant Coach - Girls Volleyball (Varsity)

The Assistant Varsity Girls Volleyball Coach supports the head coach in leading a competitive, Christ-centered volleyball program at Lighthouse Christian Academy. This role includes helping plan practices, coaching during games, and building relationships with student-athletes that promote spiritual growth, teamwork, and personal development.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in planning and running practices focused on skill development, conditioning, and strategy

Support the head coach in game-day decisions, warm-ups, and player management

Encourage and disciple student-athletes through positive relationships and Christlike example

Help foster a team culture marked by effort, humility, and unity

Provide feedback and instruction during drills, scrimmages, and matches

Assist with team logistics, communication, and administrative tasks as needed

Committed Christian and active participant in the life of a Bible-believing church

Volleyball playing or coaching experience (high school or higher preferred)

Strong teamwork, communication, and leadership skills

Passion for mentoring teenage girls through sports and discipleship

Willingness to serve under the leadership of the head coach and contribute to the overall mission of LCA Athletics
