Assistant Coach - Girls Volleyball (Middle School)

The Assistant Middle School Girls Volleyball Coach supports the head coach in teaching fundamental volleyball skills and building a Christ-centered team culture. This role involves helping lead practices, assisting during games, and encouraging players in their athletic and spiritual growth in alignment with the mission of Lighthouse Christian Academy.

Key Responsibilities:

Help lead drills and practices focused on basic volleyball skills, teamwork, and effort

Support the head coach on game days with warm-ups, substitutions, and player encouragement

Build relationships with players and promote Christlike attitudes and sportsmanship

Assist in fostering a fun, disciplined, and encouraging environment for middle school athletes

Help with communication, equipment, and scheduling as directed by the head coach

Committed Christian and active participant in the life of a Bible-believing church

Experience playing or coaching volleyball (youth or middle school preferred)

Positive, supportive, and able to connect well with middle school students

Eager to serve and work under the leadership of the head coach

Passion for mentoring young athletes in both skill and character development
