*About the Position*
We are seeking an ambitious, full-time, Secondary Science teacher to join our awesome teaching staff in making an impact on the next generation for the 2026-27 school year!
*Duties*
-Develop and implement engaging, hands-on lessons that promote mastery of Indiana Academic Standards for courses including (but not limited to) Biology, AP Biology, Anatomy & Physiology.
-Foster curiosity and a deep understanding of the living world while promoting scientific inquiry, critical thinking, and real-world application.
-Utilize a data-driven approach to instruction by administering and analyzing screeners, formative assessments, labs, and unit pre/post assessments.
-Create a supportive, structured classroom environment that encourages student participation, collaboration, and a love for scientific discovery.
-Plan and facilitate meaningful hands on experiences, ensuring safe and effective lab procedures.
-Collaborate with colleagues across departments to develop interdisciplinary projects and strengthen the schoolwide academic program.
-Integrate a biblical worldview in age-appropriate ways, helping students understand the relationship between faith and science.

Requirements
-Candidate must have a vibrant and maturing Christian faith
-Candidate must be an active participant in the life of a local, Bible believing church
-A bachelor’s degree in Biology, Life Science Education, or a related scientific field is required.
-Candidates with an Indiana teaching license (or the ability to obtain one) are preferred.
-Previous experience teaching or working with middle/high school students is highly desirable.
-Experience teaching AP-level coursework is a plus.
-Candidate must be an active participant in the life of a local, Bible believing church
-A bachelor’s degree in Biology, Life Science Education, or a related scientific field is required.
