Process & Policy
- Inquire: Fill out our inquiry form HERE or call the school office.
- Visit: Someone from the Admissions Team will reach out to schedule a school tour for you.
- Apply and Submit: Apply through our PowerSchool platform and upload required forms. New applicants will be required to create a PowerSchool account to apply. A $100 application fee is due at the time of submission.
- Indiana Choice Scholarship (Voucher): If applicable, provide financial information HERE.
- Assessment: If appropriate, your student will be scheduled for learning assessment.
- Review: Your submitted documentation will be reviewed by appropriate LCA staff.
- Admissions Interview: After reviewing all required documents and assessments, someone from the Admissions Team with schedule an admissions interview for your family with our Head of School.
- Determination: The Admissions Team will notify parents of a decision regarding acceptance to LCA.
- Enroll: Upon Acceptance, parents must complete their registration through our PowerSchool platform and submit registration fees within two weeks to secure their enrollment.
- Financial Contract Agreement: A financial contract will be emailed to the parent email addresses on file. The contract will need to be assigned before the students first day in attendance.
Lighthouse Christian Academy uses continuous enrollment to simplify life for current families. Students are automatically re-enrolled each year unless we receive written notice of withdrawal.
If your student will not be returning for the 2026-27 school year, please email Mrs. Gilbert ([email protected]) by March 15, 2026.
This allows us to offer that seat to another student and plan staffing and resources well.
LCA families who do not provide written notice of withdrawal to Mrs. Gilbert ([email protected]) by March 15, 2026 will be automatically considered enrolled for the 2026–27 school year and will be responsible for Semester 1 tuition in accordance with our enrollment policies.
The annual enrollment fee (2026-27: $200) will be invoiced to all returning families after March 15, 2026. Payment for this fee is due by April 15, 2026.
A $10 late fee will be assessed after this date and for every additional 30 days the payment remains past due.
